Shanghai American Puxi Campus has two Advisory periods per day. Students meet with their advisors for 5 minutes in the morning to touch base, read announcements and to take attendance.
Students end their day in a 25 minute advisory block. Home Base groups are at a 12:1 ratio. Home Base teachers consist of CORE and some specialist teachers. There are 6 Home Bases per learning community and 12 per grade level.
For the most part, advisory activities follow themes that are determined by each learning community team although we do have an outstanding health teacher who coordinates the overall program.
